How does SCPN work with the OSPCA?

Food

The OSPCA and Humane Society works with food banks and community partners to distribute pet food where it's needed. Due to this initiative, SCPN has had the opportunity to provide food to many hungry bellies in the North

Transfers

SCPN and the OSPCA collaborate to transfer cats (and sometimes dogs, too!) to No-Kill Shelters in Southern Ontario in an effort to get our animals adopted.

How many?

At the end of 2023, SCPN had transferred 690 cats to Southern Ontario!

TNR Program

SCPN has been working a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program with the stray and feral cats in the community of Dryden and surrounding areas. By the end of 2023, SCPN had 657 cats that were trapped, neutered and returned.
