Second Chance Pet Network believes that pets have a positive impact on the health of their owners. In order to help families and individuals, who find themselves facing financial difficulties, feed their pets, Second Chance has teamed up with the Dryden Food Bank. Hopefully, those in need will be able to keep their pets with the help of the Food Bank for Pets.Donations of pet food, kitty litter and other animal essentials are accepted at the shelter for this program. Canadian Tire Money, Extra Foods Superbucks and cash are also collected and used to purchase food.
The donated items and the purchased food are then taken to the Dryden Food Bank. The Food Bank distributes to their clients, thereby ensuring that their pets have food and can continue to provide the love and support that only a pet can deliver.
