Second Chance Pet Network Shelter
Adoptable Cats
Most of our cats are housed at our shelter. Our cats are mostly free to roam in the open cat room. We also have 7 smaller cat rooms that are used for cats that need to be isolated for any reason.
Feral (Roaming) Cats
We are very fortunate to have the acreage to be able to have a feral cat facility at the back of our property. These cats are not available for adoption but we appreciate any donations for their care.
Second Chance Pet Network also manages feral cat colonies at Dryden’s Highway 502 and Barclay Landfill sites, as well as at the landfill site in Sioux Lookout. This management of feral cats is accomplished through a T-N-R program (trap-neuter-return).

Adoptable Dogs
We try to place all our dogs and puppies in foster homes whenever possible, but sometimes they end up at the shelter when we don't have enough foster homes. Usually the foster parents will bring the puppies to different events we have going so that you may meet them. We always have the adoption applications with us in case you fall in love!
All puppies that arrive in our care are vetted, then quarantined for 2 weeks so we know that they are disease free before being placed in a foster home or put up for adoption.

Dog Boarding
Second Chance Pet Network operates a boarding facility at the shelter. We have 18 kennels with a large play yard for the boarders. There is an attendant on site 24/7.
Please call Ann at 937-6943 for rates and availability. The puppies that are shown had just come in from playing and all ran to the same kennel, trying hard to convince us it was a mealtime. They have all since been adopted.
